When Katie got married, she asked if I’d write a little poem to frame and put by the guest book. They wanted people to write more than just their names – they thought it would be great to get the ink flowing from the pen (especially after the wine had been flowing for a bit). So this is what we went with:

We hoped you’d come!
So drink a beer,
go dance, have fun!

(In case they wake up
